  • Summary
  • Applications

End Suction pumps for HVAC system pumping and control; general purpose pumping; industrial or process pumping and control (water or glycol based)

  • Description

End Suction, base mounted horizontal pumping unit with integrated intelligent controls for easier installation and superior energy performance. Saves up to 75% in energy over comparable traditional constant speed or variable frequency operated pump installations. Units up to 50hp (37kW) include integral vibration isolators.

  • Materials
    • E-coated cast-iron / e-coated ductile iron casing

    • 316 stainless steel impeller / bronze impeller

    • Sintered silicon carbide mechanical seal

  • Configuration

On-board Intelligent Variable Speed controls with Sensorless or Parallel Sensorless control. Controls enclosure UL Type 12 (IP55). Available with Ultra Premium Efficiency (IE5) motors. Outside balanced mechanical seal.

  • Performance range

    25 to 4,500 USgpm (1.5 to 283 L/s) flow; 10 to 400 ft (3 to 121 m) head

  • Temperature

    300°F (150°C)
    250°F (121°C)

  • Power Range

1 hp to 125 hp (0.75 kW to 90 kW)

  • Size

    1.25" to 8" discharge (32 mm to 200 mm)

Lowest installed cost

  • Design eliminates the need for inertia bases and housekeeping pads, significantly reducing installation expenses and labor time* *for DEPM units up to 50hp
  • Integrated intelligent controls eliminate separate mounting of variable frequency drive (VFD) as well as procurement, installation (incl. wiring), calibration and upkeep of differential pressure sensor
  • Flow readout eliminates need for separate flow meter, reducing installation cost and simplifying system setup
  • Design Envelope selections with DEPM motors frequently allow a smaller motor and/or pump size, which reduces capital equipment cost
  • Rigid coupling design comes pre-aligned, removing the need for on-site alignment and saving up to 8 hours of labor during installation

Enhanced Serviceability

  • Outside mechanical seal can be replaced in just 30 minutes without disturbing the motor or casing, drastically reducing downtime and labor
  • Rigid coupling design eliminates the need for re-alignment during maintenance, saving up to 8 hours of labor compared to conventional designs

Lowest Environmental Cost

  • Embodied carbon is up to 70% less than conventional 2-pump, end suction installations.  This comes from smaller equipment sizes, and elimination of inertia bases and housekeeping pads
  • Operating carbon is significantly reduced through energy savings, and from Active Performance Management with self-diagnostic capability, enabling sustained product life
